30 Day Blog Challenge – Day 23

One good thing that happened today – Another day enjoying good company before the challenging week ahead when the city comes alive again following the Easter break…

Photo Challenge – A picture of an actress you admire, mmmm easy one Sandra Bullock – gorgeous and talented – shame she doesn’t make so many films nowadays 😦

Status Challenge – What makes you feel guilty, ohh so much… don’t we all? I feel guilty for not spending enough time with my kids, my family, my friends (although friends have had ‘most’ of my time lately), guilty for hurting people I love with my behaviour (due to my BPD, something I have yet to learn how to control, instead ‘it’ controls me)… 😦

Film Challenge – Your favourite old film – how ‘old’ is old? back to my childhood is ‘old’ enough for me I’m going with ‘Stand By Me’ full of some of my favourite actors and a truly moving storyline πŸ™‚

Book Challenge – Favorite Romance Novel… hmmm not really into ‘romances’ does Virginia Andrews count? Maybe not, but I do love ‘Flowers in the Attic’ and Virginia Andrews is probably the closest thing to ‘romance’ that I would read…:S

Song Challenge – A song that you want to play at your wedding – been there done that, can’t imagine it happening again… so I’ll go for the one we chose to have played at our wedding – Shania Twain ‘You’re Still the One’

30 Day Blog Challenge – Day 22

One good thing that happened today – Had a great evening playing Guitar Hero, then on to the pub for Pool with some great friends πŸ˜€

Song Challenge – A song that you listen to when you’re sad – Evanescence, Bring me to Life

Book Challenge – Favorite Series… decisions, decisions there are a few great series of books that I enjoy I guess as I’ve probably mentioned some of them before for other days I will choose ‘The Sooky Stackhouse Mysteries’ by Charlaine Harris for this challenge – This is the series that inspired the TV spin off ‘True Blood’ which I ‘love’ πŸ˜€

Film Challenge – A film that you always watch with your friends… well we don’t usually ‘do’ film nights but a few of us have been meaning to have a ‘zombie fest’ night and top of the list for that is ’28 Days Later’

Status Challenge – Your funniest prank, ohh dear another ‘funny’ thing… I really am not a prankster, the only pranks I can think of having pulled are silly little things like sneaking a ball into the pocket on someone elses game of pool to help someone who is losing, lol

Photo Challenge – A picture of your favorite relative, I’ve got to cheat again and use a picture of 2 people, my children, I love them dearly even if I don’t always show it enough (though I am sure they know it!) I can’t believe how much they have grown up – but they will always be my babies, no matter how big they get! lol

30 Day Blog Challenge – Day 21

Well despite getting a little off track there for a few days I’m all caught up now πŸ™‚

One good thing that happened today – spent a nice day in the sun with my good friends, caught up with my work (and blogs) before a nice evening out πŸ™‚

Song Challenge – a song that you listen to when you’re happy… Sixpence None the Richer -Kiss Me

Status Challenge – Your favorite colour… can I have 2? I like purple and blue…

Photo Challenge – A pinched picture of someone who means a lot to you and the reason why then mean a lot to you… Alison (pinched from her fb profile pics) this young lady has made my daughter so happy and for that she means a lot to me! πŸ˜€

Film Challenge – A film that can always cheer you up – The Goonies, 80’s classic, fun all the way πŸ˜€

Book Challenge – A guilty pleasure book – Any of the ‘Dark Hunter’ Collection by Sherrylin Kenyon, sordid, sexy fun ;P

30 Day Blog Challenge – Day 20

Ok still playing catch up…
One good thing that happened today – My good friends shined through in my time of need, even if they coudln’t be there in person the well wishes flooded in and offers of help a plenty. It’s nice to know that there are ‘many’ people who love and understand me, even if I am a ‘handful’ at times. I make mistakes, big ones, but with the love of my friends (and family) I get through each mistake stronger and wiser – live, love, no regrets, never die…

Photo Challenge – A picture of someone you need more then ever now – My dearest friend Lindsay –

Book Challenge – A Book you would recommend to an ignorant/racist/closed minded person – Voices Beyond The Border: Living with Borderline Personality Disorder by Vicky Cox and Lucy Robinson. Hopefully the more people read about mental health conditions the more they can understand, but saying that until you’ve had to deal with it yourself you probably never can… even living with a borderline doesn’t give you any insight… 😦

Status Challenge – Your lookalike celeb – ahh this is an easy one as it was pointed out to me on a night out, I’d nvere seen the show but had to look up this young lady after and was amazed to see she really is my (younger) double! Madeline Martin aka Becca Moody of Californication

Film Challenge – A film that reminds you of a certain place/ event… Dawn of the Dead (1978 version) reminds me of my nan and grandads house, they used to let me watch the ‘zombies in the shopping mall’ as I called it then even though I was only very young! hehe

Song Challenge – a song that you listen to when you’re angry – I am. I feel – Alisha’s Attic…

30 Day Blog Challenge – Day 19

I know it’s a bit late, I’m having to play catch up after spending the last couple of days unwell and in hospital, so for the ‘one good thing that happened today’ on day 19 it was basically the fact that I lived to be back here playing catch up!

Book Challenge – A Book that changed your mind about a particular subject (non-fiction) – I guess that would be my OU books for the U316 The Environmental Web course. This course and the books within it changed my view on climate change and opened my eyes to the reality of the situation πŸ™‚

Photo Challenge – A picture of a pet – well I don’t have any pets right now, but most Max my vicious little rug was lovely –

Film Challenge – A film that reminds you of someone – awww sweet childhood memories, my first love Darren we used to watch this film together and he would sing ‘Hungry Eyes’ to me – Dirty Dancing, of course πŸ˜€

Status challenge – Name of a cocktail that would describe you – hehe, has to be my own personal favourite the Cheeky Vimto – cause I’m cheeky, fun and whilst I give the illusion of being not very strong I have inner depths of strength that will overpower you if you consume too much… lmao

Song Challenge – a song from your favorite album – Alisha rules the World from the album of the same name πŸ™‚
